Smoking will be prohibited in Walt Disney hotels from the 1st of June

7 May. 2007

Beginning from the 1st of June smoking will be prohibited in all the resorts of the Walt Disney World network - in buildings and in the open air too. According to the network owners, this decision is based upon the fact the in the last times more and more guests book rooms for non-smokers and are complaining about the tobacco smoke smell in the hotels and restaurants. Besides, every fourth visitor has respiratory tract diseases. Those who smoke at the territory of the resorts will be fined and the amount of the fine is from $250 to $500. Smoking in the thematic parks of Walt Disney was prohibited already seven years ago.
