As the national touristic office of Germany reports, from the 6th of July till the 2nd of September of this year, in Luebeck-Travemuende will the international fair of the sand sculptures "Sand World 2007" take place. Already to the 6th time right on the shore of the Baltic Sea on the total square of 10 thousand square meters will be multiple figures exposed that were built only with the use of sand and water.
The special technology of the creation of the sand masterpieces, that includes sand soaking, packing down and cutting, protects the sculptures from the possible weather surprises. For the work of 75 sculptors from various countries there will be 9 tons of special sand delivered. |
