Already five years the Week of Soup takes place in Belgium. The scope of this unusual event is propaganda of healthy food. As in the previous years, the vegetable soup, cooked by the receipts of Jean-Pierre Bruno will be offered for free to people in major cities.
There will be a total of 3000 liters of vegetable soup cooked. It consists of grated tomatoes and meat-balls. The most of the Belgians prefer it like this. In Brussels you can taste this soup if you get to La Monnaie opera. It will be served in plastic glasses and accompanied with a short description of it's useful and health-giving characteristics and the receipt of cooking.
In this year, the Soup Week in Belgium will take place from 13th till 20th of January. |
