A Briton from Devon is planning his first trip abroad. So what? Many people are planning to travel abroad. But he has chose an unusual means of transport - skateboard.
The 20 years old Sam Benson plans to overcome 2500 miles in 10 weeks and to visit 5 European countries. He will begin his travel on the long skateboard in the beginning of July.
After he runs through the La-Manche tunnel under the sea to Kale, he will continue his trip through France and Switzerland, crosses the Alps and after that comes to Italy, then will get through Marcelle and will be afterwards in Spain.
His route will go through Pyrenees to Barcelona, then he goes to Valencia and Madrid. To finish his unusual voyage Sam plans in Santandera in the middle of September.
He is riding a skateboard already for 11 years and though he does really like it, he did not really go somewhere outside Britain. This will be his first trip abroad.
In Paris he will be accompanied by the professional skateboard rider Adam Colton from Los-Angeles and they will ride together about 3000 kilometers. |
