State of emergency In Oman - incoming hurricane

On Monday the authorities of Oman have proclaimed the state of emergency for the army and police according to the information about the incoming hurricane. The meteorologists prognose the wind at the speed of 185-205 km/h and "very high waves". The inhabitants of some towns are requested to leave the territory where the cyclone is being awaited.

Oman is located on the south-east of the Arabian Peninsula. On the north it borders wit Arab Emirates, on the North-West with Saudi Arabia and on the West with Yemen. On the North it borders the Oman Gulf, on the East and South - with Arabian Sea. It is a very beautiful country with lots of points of interests and natural treasures: ancient mountains, deserts with sand dunes, green oases and sand beaches.
