According to the research in which 121 countries of the world took part, Tunis took the first place among the African countries as the most peaceful and quiet countries. Although, the research results are quite different, even among the G8 countries Japan became most peaceful country, Russia takes 118th place in this list. Tunis took 39th place and it stand above Morocco (48th place), Senegal (65), Kenya (91), South Africa (99) and Nigeria (117).
The EIU organization has judged the peacefulness in the countries according to 24 criteria among those are the denial of arms of minor damage (firearms, small explosive charges), local corrupcy and respect of the human rights. |
