Czech Republic has got an undisputable top position at inbound tourism among 12 new EC-members. 6.4 million foreign tourists have visited this country during last year.The country also holds the 11 position in the whole EC.
Praque took the 6 place in the rating of the most frequented European capitals, though on Chech Assotiation of tourist agencies evidence Czech Republic is still behind the leading touristic countries.
Basing on recently taken research by German Traveller Analysis, 42% tourists prefer to be housed in environmentally sound districts; 46% want the place they are going to spend their vacation to be the promoter of environmental safety; and 60% consider open dump pollution to be a problem.
WTO considers that the global touristic flow would come by 1,6 billion inbound tourists per year by 2020, with annual average increase in 4-5%.The number of inbound tourists in Czech Republic has increased by 1,6% this year. |
