In 2008 are excepted new rules concerning the usage of the Internet by the passengers during the flight. The transport department of Germany plans to accept a statement that says that during the flight the gadgets that have the transmission power less than 100 milliwatts are allowed.
In this way, to use the Internet you could use laptops, pocket pc, mobile phone or smart phone. The usage of such gadgets during the horizontal flight does not represent any harm. But during the takeoff and landing all the electronic equipment should be switched off as before. The new rules are not affecting the usage of the mobile phones in planes. As before, calls are prohibited during the whole flight. |
