The French Mountain resort Abondance is closed because of the melting of the snow that is caused by the global temperature change. In the last years because of the bad weather Abondance has lost his popularity among the tourists and is completely bankrupted. According the the local authorities, such situation can occur in the whole Alps in the nearest time: in the last 2 years the temperature in the mountains had the increase of 3,3 Centigrade that is three times above the normal. According to the association of the mountain sports, the North American, Australian and Russian mountain resorts will probably gain popularity because the global warming has less effect there. |
