German urinals test the drivers for sobriety

12 Aug. 2007

In the bars and restaurants of Frankfurt there is a new computer game installed that convinces the drunk drivers to take a taxi instead of driving home.

The game that got the name "Piss-Screen" consists of the installed in the urinals control element that is connected to the on-the-wall screen. The game starts automatically when a man starts to ease. The player controls the vehicles on the screen using the jet, directing it to the right or left.

The "Driving" requires quick reaction. The more the player is drunk, the quicker get the on-screen cars into a horrible accident. According to the opinion of the creators, this should help understanding the danger of drunk driving.

At the end of the game there comes a text on the screen that says "Too drunk to drive a car? Take a taxi.".
