Because of the alcohol products import problems there is a serious alcoholic drinks shortage in the bars and hotels of Bali.
The touristic industry of this Indonesian Island has expressed their worries concerning this problem. According to their opinion, the alcohol import problems can have a negative influence on the resort tourist traffic and in the first half of this year the amount of foreign quests has 34% higher than in the last year.
The reason of the shortage is caused by the fact that the state company that is responsible for the deliveries of the alcoholic drinks to the bars and hotels did not apply for their quotes that should be renewed every half a year. Besides, not long ago there was a criminal group captured in Bali that imported the alcoholic drinks illegally. |
