Cyprus is awaiting visitors for Aphrodite Festival

Aphrodite Festival will take place in Cyprus from August 31 till September 2. It is annually conducted in Pafos for nine years already. During these days thousands people gather in the square in front of the castle to listen to immortal operas. Such masterpieces of art as "Aida", "Carmen", "Tosca", "Rigoletto", "La Traviata", etc. were successfully performed on the stage of the castle in the past years. Giuseppe Verdi's opera "Trovatore" will be submitted to audience approval this year.
