Forbes Traveler has published the list of the most beautiful world volcanoes. The first place went to Hawaiian active volcano Kilauea: where travelers are able to admire fancifully thickened lava and the lunar landscapes. The volcano Mount Liamuiga situated in Sen Kitse has taken the second place: the tourists will go through the perennial bamboo forests and take a swim in a volcanic lake during the sightseeing tour.
The third place belongs to Kilimanjaro Mountain which is one of the most popular places of interest in Tanzania representing the dormant volcano covered with thickened magma. The fourth place is Vesuvius volcano: thousands of tourists come to Pompeii and Naples annually to have a look at the traces of the famous catastrophe.
The volcanic massif of the Wrangell Saint Elias national park in Alaska stands fifth: the observing helicopter flights are organized for the tourists. Zairian Nyiragongo volcano, American Yellowstone volcano, Japanese Shiga, Ambrym located on the island of the archipelago Vanuatu of the same name and New Zealand Egmont or Taranaki are also entered in the list. |
