Recently the fiscal police of the Italian city Palermo has confiscated from the godfather of the Sicilian mob Bernardo Provenzano property at the rate of 1 million Euro. After the words of the law-enforcement authorities, the mob's boss condemned for 12 life imprisonments, besides 3 houses near the city of Trapania was as well confiscated a tour-agency Provenzano, hiding from justice since 1963, was detained in April, 2006 at an abandoned farm at one of the villas near the Sicilian city Carleone.
The Italian police think that Provenzano is responsible for the majority of murders committed after the decision of the so called "commission" of the mob clan "Cosa Nostra". Since the beginning of 2007 the Italian authorities have confiscated property at the rate of 600 million Euro, however the tour agency appears for the first time in such a case. Well, it only proves once again the high yield from the tourist business on Sicilia.
