Love Parade has been cancelled

26 Aug. 2007

One of the brightest and impressing carnivals - the Hungarian version of the Berlin Love Parade which takes place in the most beautiful places of Budapest: from the Chain bridge (Széchenyi Lánchíd), up to the Heroes Square (Hösök tere), - has been cancelled this year.

Many people expecting this year to admire the crowd of semi-naked girls passing by lorries and to have fun on the Budapest Love Parade, have been disappointed. This year Parade will not take place because of noise, dust and lack of sponsors.

However it will be replaced with the Bonus Parade (Parádé Bónusz) which passes today in the park near the Nepstadium (Népstadionkert) where will set out more than fifty DJs.

The entrance ticket costs{stands} 4000 forints in case you have got it beforehand, and 5000 forints if you buy the ticket right down at the entrance.
