In Japan new tourist buses with automatic guides are put in operation

29 Aug. 2007

New excursion autobuses will be put in operation in Tokyo starting from October; the tourists will be offered recorded excursions in different languages.

The autobus company Hato Bus based in Tokyo is introducing a new way of service for the foreigners. New buses will be equipped with GPS terminals for the determination of location with the help of satellite. In the very moment the bus passes a sight, in the ear-phones adjusted to the passenger seat will be heard the story about the place. The passengers will be able to choose any language of five: Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean or Spanish. The company hopes that many foreign tourists will use this service.
