Tourists that rest in Croatia can make use of a new service and take part in hunting for Drava monster. According to the legend, a certain creature dwells in Drava River nearby Legrad. And though nobody has seen it so far, they say that the similarity to the dweller of Loch Ness lake is evident.
Those who decide to set out in search of the monster will have to get over 60 km sailing in the river while being alone with the wild nature. The route starts from the Donja-Dubrava bridge, passes through the Great-Pajut zone and further till the estuary of Drava River. During the whole route "the Nessy's relative" can suddenly leap out of the water and frighten the hunters with its bawls.
Drava flows through the territory of Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and Hungary (it stretches for 749 km), forming a natural border between Hungary and Croatia.
