World's highest building is being constructed in Dubai.

16 Sep. 2007

World's highest building is situated in Dubai. This highest detached building on the earth is already 1822 feet high. The information related to the final metric area of the highest spot of the building made of concrete, of glass and of steel, was strictly kept in secret, the constructions will be over about the 2008 year.

The construction of such an object is one of the steps of converting a quiet deserted city of Persian Gulf into one of the most important business centres in the Near East. The Burj Dubai Building broke the record of height of the World's highest building of CN Tower (Toronto , Canada) that was built in 1972.

"The company that is building the Burj Dubai set a new world record in constructions of "skyscrapers"- mentioned Mohamed Ali ali Abbar, the chairman of Emaar Properties.

Till the end of 2008 Burj will be corresponding to all four criteria of high-rise buildings: the instantaneous high of the building, the last floor to be a residential one, the height of the roof and the height of the fine-pointed turret, of the antenna, of the mast or of the flagstaff.
