After 2000 years the Italians have decided to give life to "festina lente" statement, that means "hurry slowly", in 55 towns of Italy the "day without hurry" is celebrated.
Each town celebrates it in it's own different way. For example in Milan every hurrying pedestrian will be fined with a symbolic fine for the overspeeding. THe organizators of the event - "Looking for an unhurried life" - assure that they do not promote "nothing doing", they just want to expresse themselves against the crazy rhythm of the modern life. |
