Puerto Rico is having serious problems connected with the amount of alley dogs living in streets and beaches of the city. The government decided to pay for an avian ticket for a dog in case a foreign tourist wants to take away the animal he likes.
Several groups of volunteers are already working in the city and picking up homeless animals, which will be sent to the USA afterwards and find their masters there quickly.
An American Christina Akilino has come to Puerto Rico for the second time. She has come to take dogs and then find masters for them in her country. She has already spent $1460 on ticket but is sure that it was a good spending because dogs will find their homes at last.
