The authorities of one Hungarian village have found a curious way to fill the budget. Anyone can give his name to a street for a specific fee.
The authorities state the for $653 one of the eigth streets of the Ivad village will bear the name of the client during the next 300 years.
The Mayor of the village hopes that the famous people would be interested in that. He says that for example Barbara Streisand, whose name has none of the streets of the world, could express her wish to use this offer. |
