Airbus A380 the largest in the world passenger airplane started its first commercial flight from Singapore to Sydney. The airbus can transport up to 850 passengers, and at first within the last decades it left behind Boeing 747 considered to be the major passenger airplane.
As we had already written earlier the tickets for the fist flight "airplane of the new generation" of Singapore airlines were sold at auctions with a great pomp, the passengers of this flight paid from $560 to $100380 for the right to take part in the first flight; however the load turned out to be incomplete, there were only 450 passengers on the board. But people do not consider that they overpaid because this flight according to their convictions would go down in history. |
