The boots, created already in 2005 by the students of the "Universitat der Kunste" university in Berlin have at last been presented. The TTA'2006 Fair in Vienna organizators have even nominated them for an award in the Mobile Content category. The students have demonstrated their invention in Germany, Austria and a couple of days before it was presented in USA.
The "CabBoots" are equipped with a set of sensors and mechanics and have the ability to connect to a computer - the corresponding ports are located in the heel. The embedded computer analyses the data collected by the sensors. With the help of these sensors, the boots can "orientate at the area" and lead the owner to the given destination. |
