During Peking Olympic Games and solar eclipse which is expected in 2008, the flow of foreign tourist to Mongolia will increase dramatically. As a result of this, the authorities of Mongolia are developing the plan for accommodation of tourists in hotels and provisioning of transport and safety for them.
This year 21 Mongolian guides have received second degree certificates, five tourist centers have got categories of 1st and 2nd degrees, and six hotels have got from 2 to 5 star categories. During the first nine months of this year 337 thousand tourists have visited Mongolia. It is supposed, that by the end of the year this number will be about 400 thousand persons. |
