Moscow has become a chocolate capital of the world. From 30 November to 2 December "Gostiny Dvor" shall host the Chocolate Salon. The capital gathers sweet teeth for the second time. The first festival took place in 2006.
Chocolate production shall be presented by both world marker leaders and small family enterprises from France, Belgium and Switzerland within the salon.
Festival organizers attempt to prove that chocolate is the product that can not only give unforgettable gustatory senses, but also appeal to your eye. You shall be able to see sculptures and pictures made of chocolate at the exposition. Tasting, master-classes of both Russian and international confectioners, chocolate spa, contests and many other events are planned within the festival. The opening ceremony of the unusual event that took place in the evening of 29 November was traditionally accompanied by demonstration of dresses made of chocolate. |
