Kenyan court has sentenced a German tourist to pay a fine in the amount of 15 dollars for having sex with a prostitute on the beach. The woman was fined with the same amount of money as well.
Earlier the accused had acknowledged their guilt in violation of public order. Police officers arrested the tourist and the prostitute on the beach near one of the Mombassa night clubs (500 kilometers from Nairobi).
The judge decided that in case Joachim Pasohier and Abdalla Chungva fail to pay the fine, they shall spend 9 months in prison.
The Kenyan cost of the Indian Ocean is a popular tourist region, regularly visited by thousands of European tourists. Sex on the beach is one of the best ways of spending time; however, the local authorities have another point of view. |
