Grandiose firework will be organized at the night of New Year in Zurich again. It is already the seventh consecutive year when local hotels spend this show. The firework will be from 0.20 till 0.40 above Lake Zurich. There will be mobile bars and trays with dishes of various nationalities on its quays. The urban transport of Zurich, including suburban trains S-Bahn, will work till 4.00. Beginning with 1.00 you will have to pay extra night charge of 5 francs ($4) for traveling in addition to the usual ticket.
Transport workers recommend to buy this night ticket in advance in order not to stand in huge turns at night. Besides upon the termination of this firework there will be trains to Bern and Basel, and also to East Switzerland.
