The authorities of the Portuguese city Óbidos, situated in 70 km to the north from Lisbon, have announced the organization of the Sixth international festival of chocolate from February, 14 till February, 24, 2008. There are numerous events for adults and children, and also - tasting of various products from chocolate in the program. Besides, the culinary recipes competition of the "chocolate" dishes will be held within the framework of the festival. Any interested person can take part in this competition. The prize will be an invitation to the festival.
According to the competition rules, the main component of a dish should be chocolate. The cooking time should not be more than two hours, Podroze.onet.pl. writes. Each competition participant can send several recipes at once. The works will be accepted to the competition till December, 15. It is necessary to translate the recipe into English, to specify the dish name and also - the participant's name, surname and contacts. It is possible to send the competitive works to the festival organizing committee by e-mail: festivalchocolate@cm-obidos.pt. The names of 10 finalists who will receive invitations to the festival will be known in January, 2008. |
