The wooden temple Long An, being in great request among tourists and Eastern Antique lovers, have been closed for reparation, that will last for two whole years.
The world-known attraction is situated in Hue, the ex-capital of Imperial Vietnam. The building was constructed in 1845. Originally it was a palace, but its statute lost importance after French colonization in 1885. It was turned into library in 1908.
The building was re-equipped again and turned into Imperial Valuables Museum in 1925. Its name took an up-to-date form: "Valuables of Imperial Citadel Museum" in 1975. |
