The Prison Shall Turn Into a Hotel through an Auction

France expels prisoners and accommodates tourists instead. The first ancient French prison in the nearest future shall turn into a modern hotel complex and soon shall be followed by others. The former prison in the French Avignon offered for public sale shall be a profitable enterprise due to its rich history, since it was built in XIII century. The city authorities plan to transform the building into a luxurious hotel. The auction shall continue till 23 January. According to the obligatory sale requirement, the future owner is obliged to transform the whole prison or its part into a hotel. Till 2003 the building had been used according to its direct destination. During the next two year the Government of the country intends to sell nine other French prisons.
