Jail is Waiting for those British Drivers who Speak on Cell Phone

Up to 2 years of imprisonment is waiting for British drivers who will be caught talking on the cell phone without hands-free accessory while driving. Given execution order was signed by the British prosecutor's office.

Drivers will also undergo criminal penalty for setting up the navigation or audio systems of a car while driving. Besides that, according to the prosecutor's office, a driver who is talking on the phone or setting up the navigation represents a potential threat for the other traffic participants. That is why, in every case of road traffic accident, British police will check the drivers' cell phones if there were calls made at the moment of the accident.
