The citizen of Germany who was not allowed to take a bottle of vodka to the plane at the customs control of the Nuremberg airport showed remarkable greediness and drank a liter of the alcoholic beverage at one draught right before the eyes of the customs officers.
After the 64-year old German citizen performed this "heroic" deed he immediately needed medical assistance. According to the representatives of the German police, the incident took place of Wednesday. The man returned to Dresden after a vacation in Egypt. In Nuremberg he had to change the plane.
Passing customs control, the man refused to pay an extra fee for the bottle of vodka he was carrying with him and register it. Instead, he decided to act easier and more economically: to drink the contents of the bottle without moving off the customs control stand.
The greedy air traveler almost at once lost the ability of standing straight, audibly speak and adequately behave in general. Customs officers bothered with the state of health of the man called an ambulance that delivered the "injured" to the Nuremberg hospital. Currently, the health situation of the man isn't critical anymore and according to the medics, he will be able to travel back home soon. |
