The American magazine "The Out Traveler" that has the biggest circulation among the USA gay editions has carried out a poll among his readers and made a rating of cities loved by the gays.
Amsterdam turned out to be the most attractive city for gay-tourism. It is followed by Barcelona.
Amsterdam, the beloved city of readers of "The Out Traveler" is marked out by its hearty welcome of all minorities. The museum of handbags and purses is among other reasons of love towards this city.
Gays love Barcelona for its atmosphere of freedom that appeared after passing of the law on marriages between unisexual couples, proximity to the Sitges Resort, art of Antonio Gaudi and the Barcelona festival of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual festival).
Third place preferred by tourists with non-traditional sexual orientation is occupied by London, mainly due to its two hundred gay-bars.
After the top three, there come New York, San-Francisco and Chicago.
Axel has been acknowledged the best hotel network for gays, whose marketing director Tess Oriol has painted a typical gay-tourist portrait. It is a city travellet, with good manners, well-to-do, moving a lot and spending more funds while traveling than the others. |
