The city of Lhasa - an administrative centre of the Tibetan independent area of China - has taken the leading place in rating "favourite in the world" cities of China, having bypassed 96 competitors. Last years, especially after that moment when movement on Tsinghai-Tibetan to the railway has been opened, Lhasa, having titles "beautiful tourist city of China", "famous historical city of China" and many other, actively develops sphere of tourism. As reported by "The China Daily", (Zhenmin Zhibao) popularity of Lhasa all over the world grows, in fact this city is not only historical capital of Tibet, but also a place of official residence of Dalai Lama.
