Tourists Walk Along the Edge of the TV Tower in New Zealand

11 Dec. 2007

A new attraction for real amateurs of extreme appeared in the city of Oakland, New Zealand. Everyone who is older than 10 years old may walk along the narrow cornice of the external side of the city TV tower. This amusement costs only 115 dollars.

Certainly, no one is allowed to walk at such height without a preventer. The cornice is equipped with special movable straps that are safely fixed at brave customers' belts.

However, the presence of the preventer does dot diminish the shocking impression from this breath-taking walk. The path is approximately 1 m wide, and the tower is 328 m high. On the whole, Sky Tower is considered the highest building in the Southern hemisphere.
