The Festival of Balloons in Thailand

Pattaya has hosted the Festival of balloons BALLOON FIESTA. One of the most remarkable balloons launched during the Festival was the balloon-cake from the USA. It was launched to the sky on the occasion of birthday of His Majesty the King of Thailand.

The Festival was jointly organized by the Ministry of Armed Forces and the Ministry of Tourism of Thailand. Its goal was to unite all the people in the world who like balloons and give them the opportunity to visit Thailand and join the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the King of Thailand.

Thousands of tourists and local citizens took part in the Festival.
