Most of the tourists are already back to the offices. But it is the right time for those who want to get a cheap holiday - the travel demand is low, so are the prices.

The best demand in the last year had the Christmas and new-year vacations. There were already in October no more reservations to the most popular destinations. Some people have chosen seaside vacations (Egypt, Thailand, Goa, Cuba, Dominicana...), others having no fear for the lack of snow were headed to mountains to Andorra, Austria, France and there were others who preferred sightseeing tour to England, Spain, Italy.
But the touristic season does not end after the holidays. It is the right time now to visit the same places but for much less money. Right after the holidays some agencies have lowered the prices up to 30-40%.
The tours to Europe though are not very discounted but are also subject to economy. But for example some mountain locations, which suffer right now from the lack of snow - can be unbelievably cheap right now. For example, many mountain district hotels in Czech Republic are offering a night with breakfast for as little as 15 Eur. |
