Atlanta remains the world leading airport

The Atlanta Airport was the largest passenger airport in the world in 2006. About 85 million of passengers went through this airport which is a base-airport for Delta airlines. Atlanta is also connected with direct flights to 243 airports in the world, which is another record.

The second place took another junction American airport - Chicago O'Hare (76 millions of passengers). Then come London Heathrow - 67,5 mil., Tokyo Haneda - 65 mil., Los-Angeles - 61 mil., Dallas - 60 mil., Paris Roissy - Charles De Gaulle - 57 mil., Frankfurt - 53 mil., Peking - 48,5 mil., Denver - 47 mil.
