Danish politicians will allow women to visit pools topless. Danish Socialist Party plans to come out with the legislative initiative in new year allowing women to attend Copenhagen swimming pools topless. Thereby they decided to support a group of Danish women running a campaign pro this innovation. As said by one of the women, they are tired of feeling themselves as sexual objects, which are not allowed to strip just because some of the men could misunderstand this. Denmark is quite liberal, concerning public undressing, country. For a long time they already have nude beaches where nakedness is legal throughout all the coastal area, except several special 'dressed' beaches. At the same time, the law movers understand that for such an attending of pools they should allow special time, in order not to offend those who do not like this idea very much. |
