British hotels are offering a hugging pillow to their guests

The British hotel network Travelodge is offering a special hugging pillow to those guests that are not accustomed to sleep alone. A pillow is about one meter long and is suposed to have two "hands" that will embrace the quest. The innovation is already being tested in several hotels of the various British regions.

The idea for such an invention is an inspiration of the results of the research that says that of the 2000 British respondents - 63% said that they need to embrace somebody during the sleep. Three of five respondents feel themselves lonely if they sleep without partner. 16% of the British respondents are having problems to fall asleep because of this reason and 9% are simply afraid of sleeping alone.
