A Malaysian teacher will spend two years in jail for worshiping a giant teapot. A 57-year old Kamariah Ali, was born Muslim, and according to Malaysian laws she has no right to change the confession. However, together with other associates, Kamariah has denied the Islam and turned into the cult of "Sky Kingdom."
The leader of the cult is Ayah Pin, who considers himself to be a god, owning the whole world. He had built in his yard a concrete model of a giant teapot, claiming that it has the curative power, symbolizes the purity and "pours love from the skies."
The Malaysian government has arrested the whole cult in conformity with the law and knocked down the "holy teapot." The cult was arrested in the year 2005, though Kamariah was convicted only in the year 2008, on Monday, March, 3. |
