The owner of the lodge - a German artist, musician and sculptor Lars Stroschen has been working on the decoration of the rooms for almost five years. Each room is a stretch of Stroschen's rather crazy imagination.
How can one otherwise explain the appearance of a room named "Crypt" in which guests are offered to sleep in coffins, and, moreover, in the lidded ones. Those who like to fly asleep will be gladdened by a room with the bed hovering upon the inclined floor. In the "grandmother's" room the restroom and bathroom are hidden in an antique closet. In the cozy prison cell there is everything a prisoner may need: a small bed, a lavatory, a wobbly chair and... a hole in the wall, passing through which one can get to the balcony, towards the long-awaited freedom.
Sometimes it starts seeming that the decoration of the rooms is the true reality, when in the silence of the "#7 Ward" one starts clearly hearing the beating of his or her own heart. Though, there is no reason for panic - in this manner Stroschen is piddling: he turns on different noise effects, silent music. In order not to become befuddled over this variety of wonders, the hotel's guests are given a special instruction manual. |
