From the whole population of the planet, most of all eat chocolate in Switzerland, Germany and Belgium.
In 2006 each inhabitant of Switzerland has eaten 11,9 kilograms of the popular delicatessen in average, in Germany - 11,1 kg., Belgium - 11 kg. These are the results of the research, held by the chocolate manufacturers Union in Switzerland, which results were published in Brussels.
As the Swiss masters of the chocolate business reveal, less of all the people in the world eat chocolate in Japan, Netherlands and Spain.
In 2006 each average citizen of these countries has eaten 2,2, 2,9 and 3,1 kilograms of chocolate. |
