Beginning from Friday, children, whose weight exceeds 50 kilograms will not be able to ride a donkey at the beach of the British resort town Blackpool.
The prohibition has been introduced by the British veterinary association and The Donkey Sanctuary - the organization taking care about the rights of the donkeys not only on the territory of Great Britain, but also in the other countries of Europe, Ethiopia, Mexico, Kenya, Egypt and India.
According to the veterinary opinion, the rides with too heavy children negatively influences the health of the animals, whose own weight is about 160 kilograms.
