500 new hotels will be built in Europe

In the nearest 3 years there will be 513 hotels in Europe opened. 224 of them will welcome their first guests in Great Britain and Spain.

According to the calculations of the Lodging Econometrics (LE) company, the hotel capacity in European countries will be increased with 93 669 rooms. Already 59% from the total amount of hotels, and this makes already 52 800 rooms, are in the ready state, 14% will be built in the nearest 2 months and the rest 27% are in project. More that the half of the new Hotels will be categorized as 4 and 5 start and will be located in the central parts of the cities or near the airports.
