The idea to cross the Africa on a bike came to Vrublevski two years ago, when he was first time in Western Sahara. Pavel has decided to travel with a mountain bike that is distinguished for it's high reliability. The four baggage containers have got place for a tent, mosquito screen, water bottles, contemporary filter that would make potable water even from a puddle, and also medicines against malaria, photo-camera, mp3-player with an audio-course of Portuguese, Suali and Zulu, and a solar cell to charge the batteries.
During his trip Vrublevski will gather the information about the contemporary African art. He is going to send the gathered materials to one of the geographic journals. Besides, the traveler wants to write his internet blog to share the impressions. |
