A tourist has broken off the ear of the statue at the Easter Island

A Finnish tourist, Marko Kulju has broken off the ear of the statue on the territory of the Easter Island. The estimated age of the statue is 500 years.

The authorities tell that if they will prove that Marko has really did this, he will be imprisoned and will have to pay the 1900 dollars fine.

The 26-years old Marko is currently in custody till further details of the matter are being clarified.
