A restaurant without waiters has been opened in Nuremberg. The guests choose the dishes and place their orders using the sensor screens mounted into the tables.
The information from the computers comes to the kitchen, located under the roof. The ready to serve dishes are delivered right from the kitchen to the visitors with the use of special rails connected to the tables. The guests can use the screen during the waiting time to send an SMS or an e-mail. According to the words of the restaurant owner, the tables in his establishment are reserved already for several weeks.
The main visitors of the restaurant are the representatives of the young generation - the elderly clients have difficulties with the usage of the electronic menu. |
