The authorities of Japan have officially announced the beginning of the sakura blossom season. This year the cherry began to blossom earlier as before. Usually the season begins in the first half of April.
The official season begins after the first 5 flowers are found in the garden of the Shinto temple Yasukuni. The government TV- and radio-channels have announced this event on Saturday, the 22-nd of March.
The sakura blossom always attracts all the inhabitants of the Land of the Rising Sun to the gardens and parks. |
