If you are traveling with a huge excited elephant or stressed tropical fishes - the most convenient way flights are via Frankfurt airport. Exactly here a special hall for the animals has been opened.
The hall occupies the area of 3750 square meters and has42 stall for big animals like pony for the polo, racing horses or even elephants. Besides, there are 39 special enclosures and 12 compartments with air conditioning. There are also 25 vets serving the hall.
Each year about 14 000 of dogs and cats, 1500 pony for polo and 3000 tons of tropical fishes travel through Frankfurt airport. Sometimes you can even meet a tiger or a penguin there. |
